ACUVUE OASYS with Transitions™ contact lenses seamlessly react when exposed to UV and High Energy Visible (HEV) light. The contact lenses darken in under a minute, and then quickly fade from dark to clear within 90 seconds when removed from direct sunlight.

This contact lens is for anyone who is far or near sighted or anyone looking for light management benefits, including those who do not require vision correction.

Whether indoors or outdoors, day or night, these contact lenses dynamically adapt to various lighting conditions and quickly change from dark to clear and back again. They also change quickly when going from outdoors to indoors, where you need it most

Acuvue Oasys with Transitions can also be worn at night, as they respond to the decreased light.

You can wear these lenses while driving at night. The contact lenses reduce the halos (by up to 18%, on average) and starbursts (by up to 28%) that you encounter while driving at night — including those made by harsh HEV lights. They even work behind a windshield.

Oasys with Transitions are meant to be worn daily for two weeks before you replace them for another pair.

They’re not a substitute for protective UV-absorbing eyewear, such as UV-absorbing goggles or sunglasses, because they do not completely cover the eye and surrounding area. However, they can be used with sunglasses.
